Department of Tourism and Travel Services

Tourism and Travel Services Associate Degree Program; It aims to train qualified intermediate manpower that can undertake responsibility in various departments of tourism and travel businesses, open and run a workplace on its behalf when the necessary conditions are met, and become suitable professional candidates. For these purposes, it prepares students for the profession and provides them with the necessary knowledge. Graduates of the Tourism and Travel Management Program, in tourism and travel businesses, agency passenger sales (ticketing) transactions in tour operator companies, accommodation businesses as well as in areas such as advertising-promotion, fair organization, marketing planning, sales and marketing control, order taking, in-store sales, online sales and marketing, online service and call centers etc. Students are guided to cooperate with universities, non-governmental organizations, the Department of Travel-Tourism and Entertainment Services and related businesses, trade associations and professional staff on the subjects of teaching activities, employment opportunities and planning required by the program. The courses in the Tourism and Travel Services Program lesson plan include education and internship practices in the modules under these courses. Graduates are awarded an associate degree in Tourism and Travel Services program.

Mission

Our department mission by making educated individuals are equipped to be employed in the tourism sector and raising the quality of the presentation is to become tourism brand in Turkey's tourism. In addition, within the framework of scientific knowledge, to train qualified human resources who keep up with change and development, who are experts in their fields, have responsibility and problem-solving skills, are sensitive to society and the environment, and have received tourism education at national and international standards.

Part of our vision is to become one of Turkey's quality department in the area, students can develop as individuals in the industry is to create a good image of self and society. To be a pioneer in the regional framework and a department that can be preferred internationally with the individuals it has trained in the tourism sector and in the academic field, the scientific studies and activities it carries out by catching the science.
